13:14a Thus the ark of God remained with the family of Obed-edom in his house for three months,

God’s Covenant Box stayed there. (Easy English Bible) Obed-edom’s family had it in their house for three months.

So the Sacred Chest stayed at the house of Obed-edom for three months.

13:14b and the LORD blessed his household and everything he owned.

Yahweh did good things for the family of Obed-edom and for everything that he had.

Yahweh let everything go well for Obed-edom, his family and all that belonged to him.
