11:22a And Benaiah son of Jehoiada was a man of valor from Kabzeel, a man of many exploits.

Another great warrior was Benaiah son of Jehoiada from ⌊the city called⌋ Kabzeel. He did some amazing deeds.

11:22b He struck down two champions of Moab,

He killed two of the best warriors from the Moab people group. (Translation for Translators)

11:22c and on a snowy day he went down into a pit and killed a lion.

He also went down into a deep hole and killed a lion when snow was on the ground.

One day snow had fallen. He ⌊Benaiah⌋ tracked down a lion in its hole and killed it.
