Section 10:6-11:40

Jephthah was the judge of Israel

10:6a And again the Israelites did evil in the sight of the LORD.

The Israelites once again did things that were evil in the sight of Yahweh.
-or-
The people of Israel again did things that Yahweh said were wrong.

10:6b They served the Baals, the Ashtoreths,

They served the Baal gods, the Ashtoreth gods
-or-
They worshiped ⌊other gods⌋ such as the Baals, the Ashtoreths,

10:6c the gods of Aram, Sidon,

and the gods of Aram and Sidon
-or-
and the gods that the Aram and Sidon people worshiped.

10:6d and Moab, and the gods of the Ammonites and Philistines.

and Moab and Ammon and Philistia.
-or-
They also worshiped the gods of Moab and Ammon and Philistia.

10:6e Thus they forsook the LORD and did not serve Him.

Because the Israelites left Yahweh and did not serve him anymore

Because the people of Israel stopped worshipping Yahweh
