Section 4:1–24

The prophet Deborah was the leader of Israel

4:1a After Ehud died,

This happened after the death of Ehud:

After ⌊their judge⌋ Ehud died,

4:1b the Israelites again did evil in the sight of the LORD.

The people of Israel once again did things that Yahweh thought were evil.

the people of Israel sinned against Yahweh again.

4:1a-b (reordered)

The Israelites again did what was wrong in the eyes of Yahweh after Ehud died.
