3:27a On arriving in Seirah, he blew the ram’s horn throughout the hill country of Ephraim.

There in the hills belonging to the clan of Ephraim he blew a trumpet,

When he got there, he blew a ⌊loud⌋ trumpet. ⌊He gathered the Israel people⌋ from the mountain region of Ephraim.

3:27b The Israelites came down with him from the hills, and he became their leader.

and he led the Israel people down from the hills.

Then he led them and they came down from the hills together.
