An angel of Yahweh came to Bokim

2:1a Now the angel of the LORD went up from Gilgal to Bochim

The angel of Yahweh went up from Gilgal to Bokim.
-or-
Yahweh sent his heavenly messenger from the town of Gilgal to the town of Bokim.

2:1b and said, “I brought you up out of Egypt and led you into the land that I had promised to your fathers,

He told ⌊the Israelites⌋ , “I brought you (plur.) from Egypt into the country that I promised I would give to your fathers.
-or-
The messenger said ⌊to the people of Israel⌋ , “I promised your ancestors that I would give this land to them ⌊and their descendants⌋ . That is why I took them from Egypt and brought them here.

2:1c and I said, ‘I will never break My covenant with you,

I told them, ‘I will never break my covenant with you.

I told them that I would keep the agreement I made with them forever.
