20:14a Then the prophet Isaiah went to King Hezekiah and asked,

Then the prophet Isaiah came to King Hezekiah and asked him,

After that, the prophet Isaiah visited King Hezekiah. He asked the king,

20:14b “Where did those men come from,

“Where did they come from?

-or-

“Which country did they come from?

20:14c and what did they say to you?”

What did those men say ⌊to you (sing.) ⌋ ?”

-or-

What did those visitors tell ⌊you (sing.) ⌋ ?”

20:14d “They came from a distant land,” Hezekiah replied, “from Babylon.”

Hezekiah answered, “They came from a distant land, the land of Babylon.”

-or-

Hezekiah answered ⌊him/Isaiah⌋ , “They traveled/journeyed ⌊here⌋ from far away, from Babylon.”
