4:30a And the mother of the boy said,

But the boy’s mother said ⌊to Elisha⌋ ,

But the mother of the child said ⌊to Elisha⌋ ,

4:30b “As surely as the LORD lives

“⌊I swear⌋ by the life/⌊name⌋ of Yahweh

-or-

“With the living Yahweh ⌊as my witness⌋

4:30c and as you yourself live,

and by your (sing.) own life/⌊name⌋ ,

-or-

and with you (sing.) ⌊as my witness⌋ ,

4:30d I will not leave you.”

that I will not leave without you. (sing.) ”

⌊I swear that⌋ I will not ⌊go home⌋ unless you (sing.) come with me.”

4:30e So he got up and followed her.

So Elisha got up and went with her.

⌊Hearing this,⌋ Elisha went ⌊back to Shunem⌋ with her.
