10:17a He also made three hundred small shields of hammered gold;

He also had three hundred small shields made, ⌊again⌋ using beaten gold,

10:17b three minas of gold went into each shield.

with about four pounds of gold for each shield.

10:17c And the king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon.
