SIL Translator’s Notes on 1 Kings 7:20

7:20a On the capitals of both pillars, just above the rounded projection next to the network,

On top of the bowl/cup-shaped area, and next to the chainwork on the crown of each column,
-or-
They both had a rounded/bulging section. Above this and beside the metal/bronze braid,

7:20b were the two hundred pomegranates in rows encircling each capital.

200 ⌊bronze⌋ pomegranates/fruit were placed/set in rows all around.
-or-
there were two hundred (200) ⌊bronze ornaments shaped like⌋ pomegranate fruit. They/Huram set/placed these in circles around the outside ⌊of each head/crown⌋.

7:20a-b (reordered)

Huram placed the two hundred (200) pomegranates in rows around the crowns/tops of the two pillars. He placed them just above the bulge of the pillars and next to the chainwork/network.
