2:18 “Very well,” Bathsheba replied. “I will speak to the king for you.”

Then Bathsheba/she answered: “Good/Fine. I will speak to the king on your (sing) behalf.”

“All right,” she answered. “I will ask King ⌊Solomon⌋ if you ⌊can marry Abishag⌋.”

So Bathsheba agreed to speak the king for Adonijah.
