30:8a Now do not stiffen your necks as your fathers did.

So do not be stubborn, like your ancestors.

Do not resist Yahweh like your grandparents did,

30:8b Submit to the LORD

Do the things Yahweh wants you to do.

but obey him.

30:8c and come to His sanctuary, which He has consecrated forever.

Come to his temple, which he has made holy and has established for ages to come.

⌊Obey him by⌋ coming to his holy place, the house that endures and is sacred to him.

30:8d Serve the LORD your God,

Serve Yahweh your God,
-or-
⌊Once you arrive here,⌋ worship Yahweh your God.

30:8e so that His fierce anger will turn away from you.

so that he will spare you from his terrible anger.

Then he will stop being angry with you.
