29:10a Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with the LORD, the God of Israel,

So today I want to restore the covenant ⌊that we made⌋ with Yahweh, Israel’s God.
-or-
So now let us renew the firm agreement we made with Yahweh, the God of Israel’s people,

29:10b so that His fierce anger will turn away from us.

⌊Let us do this so that⌋ he spares us from his terrible anger.

and he will stop being angry with us.
