Section 29:3-19

King Hezekiah cleansed the house of Yahweh

29:3a In the first month of the first year of his reign,

During the first month that King Hezekiah ruled,

In the first month of the first year that he reigned,

29:3b Hezekiah opened and repaired the doors of the house of the LORD.

he opened the doors of Yahweh’s temple and he had {his people} fix them.

King Hezekiah ⌊had his people⌋ open the ⌊neglected/broken-down⌋ doors of Yahweh’s house. Then he {had people} restore them {to their previous condition}

29:3a–b (reordered)

During his first year as king, in the first month of that year, he repaired the ⌊old/run-down⌋ doors to Yahweh’s house and had them reopened.
