18:23a Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah went up, struck Micaiah in the face,

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah approached Micaiah and slapped his face.

When Zedekiah son of Chenaanah heard this, he went to Micaiah and slapped him on the face.

18:23b and demanded, “Which way did the Spirit of the LORD go when He departed from me to speak with you?”

He asked him forcefully, “Which way did the spirit of Yahweh go when he left me to speak to you?”

He/Zedekiah asked him, “Do you think that Yahweh’s spirit has left me in order to speak to you?”
