27:5a The third army commander, as chief for the third month, was Benaiah son of Jehoiada the priest.

The commander in charge of the third division was Benaiah, the priest Jehoiada’s son. ⌊Benaiah served⌋ in the third month ⌊of the year⌋ .

Benaiah was responsible for the third troop during the third month ⌊of the year⌋ . Benaiah’s father was Jehoiada the priest.

27:5b There were 24,000 men in his division.

Benaiah supervised twenty-four thousand fighting men.
