(1) Some Greek manuscripts contain a Greek word that may be translated as well or “also.” These manuscripts are followed by the

(2) Most other English versions omit this word. If the word is included, the verse means: “We prayed for you, and now you should also pray for us.” (Paul’s prayer for the Thessalonians was in 5:23.) This is the option followed by the Display.
