Exegesis:

hupostrephe eis ton oikon sou ‘go back to your house.’ oikos refers not so much to the building where he used to live but to the family who live in that building and of whom he used to be a part.

diēgou hosa soi epoiēsen ho theos ‘tell all that God has done for you, or, to you,’ preferably the latter, since he is not only the recipient of God’s blessing, but in the first place its object.

diēgeomai (also 9.10) ‘to tell,’ ‘to relate.’

kath’ holēn tēn polin kērussōn ‘proclaiming all over the town.’ kērussō is a stronger and more specific word than diēgeomai. Here it has the connotation of proclaiming openly, or, loudly.

Translation:

Declare, or, ‘make-known/tell,’ if necessary adding an indirect object, e.g. ‘to the people there.’

How much God has done for you, preferably, ‘to you,’ or, ‘God’s big deed to you’ (cf. Ekari), ‘how great things (or, all the great things that) God has done to you,’ ‘that it is very good what God has gone to you’ (Tzeltal). For ‘to do great things to’ cf. also on 1.49.

Proclaiming throughout the whole city, or, “and told everyone in the town” (The Four Gospels – a New Translation). For the verb see on 4.18.
