All the people of the land shall give this offering to the prince in Israel: Apparently, the people of the land, that is, the Israelites, will not bring their offerings directly to the Temple. Instead, they will give them to the prince in Israel, that is, their king (see Ezek 45.7). However, as the next verse makes clear, these offerings will not be for his personal use. He will store the grain and keep the animals until they are needed in the Temple. Both Revised Standard Version and Good News Translation follow the Septuagint for this verse since the Hebrew text is unclear.
