Die Bibel im heutigen Deutsch renders the passive verb may be broken as an active with the LORD as subject: “then I will set aside the covenant which I made with my servant David.”

So that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne: See verse 17 and 13.13. Good News Translation restructures to “that he would always have a descendant to be king.”

Good News Translation makes clear the meaning of and my covenant with the Levitical priests my ministers, that is, that they will serve him forever.
