Translation commentary on Jeremiah 32:26

For this whole verse, compare verse 6 and 1.4.

In place of to Jeremiah, the Septuagint has “to me,” as Good News Translation also does. In both cases the translators are actually following the Hebrew, making the adjustment on translational grounds (that is, so that the passage flows more smoothly).
