It is to be noticed that in verse 25 (see also verses 32, 33, 34) only the two tribes of Reuben and Gad are mentioned. This observation leaves the translator with two options: either (1) to translate similarly to Good News Translation and mention explicitly the two tribes (between us and you people of Reuben and Gad) or (2) to translate without explicit mention of the tribes (“between us and you”).
