He waited another seven days: this most likely refers to a second period of seven days; or another seven days may be used in relation to the forty days in Gen 8.6. We may translate, for example, “He waited this time for seven days,” “Now he waited seven days,” or as Bible en français courant says, “He waited one week.”

Again he sent …: sent is as in Gen 8.7.
