If integrated into the book of Daniel: 3.31

So all that thou hast brought upon us: This line is a close equivalent to “thou hast brought all this upon us” in verse 5. The connector So fits this context better than “but” in Good News Translation.

All that thou hast done to us is a closely parallel second line, which may be easily combined with the first line.

Thou hast done in true judgment echoes the closing line of verse 4, as well as the first line of verse 5.

A model that reflects some suggestions made above on these lines would be:

• So it was proper and fair for you to punish us for our sins. You were right to find us guilty.
