Sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving: compare 7.12.

You shall sacrifice it: Good News Translation has omitted the repetitious material and introduced what is implied in this phrase. One may also say “offer the sacrifice according to the rules….”

So that you may be accepted: if it is necessary to avoid the passive construction, this may be translated “so that God will accept you” or, framed negatively, “in order that God will not reject you.”
