Translation commentary on Leviticus 20:13

Lies with a male as with a woman: see 18.22.

An abomination: see 7.18; 11.10; 18.22.

They shall be put to death: this is the same emphatic construction as used in verses 2, 4, 9, 10, and elsewhere.

Their blood is upon them: indicating their personal responsibility as in verses 11 and 12 above. This constitutes a kind of summary statement which serves to emphasize the personal accountability.
