Remember may require an object in many languages. Today’s English Version supplies “us” because Esther is referring to herself and to her people. Esther is not afraid that God has forgotten his people, but she is asking that God act on their behalf (compare Psa 106.4; 132.1). It may be translated “Be reminded of us” or “Think of us.”

Make thyself known: Esther is not asking simply that God will reveal himself and not remain hidden, but rather that God will cause people to know who he is and what he is like when they see him come to the assistance of his people (so Today’s English Version “come to us”).

Esther addresses God as the King of the gods, that is, the God who is greater than all other gods, the God who is the supreme King.

All dominion: the context suggests that “dominion” refers to “earthly powers” (Today’s English Version) or “governments” (Anchor Bible) and not heavenly powers. Master of all dominion is literally “ruling over every authority.”
