Shall eat: this doesn’t mean just to “eat” (Good News Translation) or “take” (Contemporary English Version), as such, but take possession of, and possibly destroy all the livestock (see the same verb in verse 35).
The offspring of your cattle and the fruit of your ground: see verse 11.
Until you are destroyed: see verses 20, 24.
Not leave you grain, wine, or oil: see verses 38-40. They will do away with all the property of the Israelites.
The increase of your cattle or the young of your flock: see verses 4, 18.
Until they have caused you to perish: all the things the enemy will do will completely wipe out the Israelites; they will disappear.
