The concluding formula for King Amaziah of Judah is quite similar to the earlier passages even though Revised Standard Version has the word deeds here and “acts” in the earlier passages (for example, 1 Kgs 11.41; 2 Kgs 1.18). The Hebrew word for deeds and “acts” is the same in both cases.

Translators should take into consideration the earlier remarks about the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah and the question format of this verse (see 1 Kgs 14.29).
