Translation commentary on 2 Esdras 12:10

He said to me: It is not clear who the speaker is in verses 10-39; for example in verse 33 the speaker is clearly the angel Uriel, but in verse 34 it may be God. Once again the writer makes no distinction between God and the angel who delivers God’s message. We recommend that translators follow Revised Standard Version by using the pronoun He, but it would not be incorrect to say “God’s angel” (Good News Bible) or “The angel Uriel” (Contemporary English Version).

This is the interpretation of this vision which you have seen may be rendered “Here is what your vision [or, dream] means.”
