Now then, hand over the cities which you have seized is expressed well by Good News Bible.

And the tribute money of the places which you have conquered outside the borders of Judea: Tribute money may be rendered “tax money” (Good News Bible, Contemporary English Version). See the comments on 1Macc 8.4, where the Greek word for tribute money is translated “tribute.” Possible models for the last half of this verse are “and you must give me the tax money that is due me from the places you have captured outside of Judea” or “and you must give me the tax money that should have been paid to me by the places….”
