Let the cost of rebuilding and restoring the structures of the sanctuary be paid from the revenues of the king: The payment for the rebuilding of the Temple and of the walls of Judea’s cities (verse 45) appears to be in addition to other payments named in verse 39-42. An alternative model for this verse is:

• “I will pay for the cost of repairing and rebuilding the Temple.
