In modern English style the information regarding the sizes of the two cherubim seems repetitious when translated literally. For this reason versions like Contemporary English Version, Bible en français courant and Good News Translation have restructured this information in order to avoid the repetition. Also, since verse 23 states the height of the cherubim, Good News Translation does not retranslate this same information in verse 26 for reasons of English style.

Five cubits is equivalent to about 2.5 meters (7.5 feet) while ten cubits is about 5 meters (15 feet).
