Revised Standard Version follows the order of the Greek very literally, whereas Good News Bible begins with the grammatical subject and rearranges the text accordingly. This verse makes a contrast between Adam’s descendants, with their natural bodies made of dust, and believers in Christ, who are given new, heavenly, or spiritual bodies.

The man of dust is too literal in English. Good News Bible‘s “the one who was made of earth” is better. There is no suggestion that women are excluded.

Those who are of the dust may also be rendered as “Those who belong to the earth” (Good News Bible).

Both “made” and “came” in Good News Bible are implied.
