3:24a “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul,

So I say to myself, (Translation for Translators)

I remind myself,

3:24b “The LORD is my portion,”

“Yahweh is all that I need.
-or-
that Yahweh is my God ⌊and he will give me all that I need⌋ .

3:24c “therefore I will hope in Him.”

So I will put my hope in him.” (New International Reader’s Version)

I can rely on him.
-or-
He will help me and I will trust him.

3:24a-c (combined)

I tell myself, “Yahweh is all I need, so I will put my hope in him.”

Yahweh is all that I have left.
