3:11a He has made everything beautiful in its time.

God has set a time for each thing to be beautiful.

3:11b He has also set eternity in the hearts of men,

He has also caused people to want to live forever.

3:11c yet they cannot fathom the work that God has done from beginning to end.

However, they can never discover all that God has ever done or will ever do.

God gave us the ability to think about his world, but we can never completely understand everything he does. And yet, he does everything at just the right time. (English Easy-to-Read Version)
