So take courage, men: In the Greek and the Berean Standard Bible, the term of address is in the middle of the sentence. In some languages, it is more natural to have the term of address at or near the beginning. For example:

So, men, keep up your courage

So, men, encourage ⌊each other⌋

for: Here the conjunction for introduces the reason why Paul encourages them. Another way to translate this is:

I believe God that it will happen just as He told me: Here the word believe refers to believing that this particular message from God was true. Other ways to translate this clause are:

I believe God that it will turn out exactly as I have been told. (New American Standard Bible)
-or-
I am sure that God will do exactly what he promised. (Contemporary English Version)

I trust in God that everything will happen as his angel told me. (New Century Version)
