In Karbi to second person pronouns are used that differentiate persons standing in a certain racial or family group and the other to those outside this group and when the relationship is decided on or known. In Isaiah 45:14 the several appearances of the ambiguous “you” and “your” (is the “you” Israel or Cyrus?) thus had to be resoved. The translators selected Israel as the referred to party by using nang rather than nangli. Consideration of such points often takes up considerable time in translation. (Source W.R. Hutton in The Bible Translator 1953, p. 86ff. )
