a loud voice from heaven: John does not say who spoke here. Use a phrase that can refer to anyone in heaven. For example:

loud speech coming from heaven

in a cloud: This phrase probably indicates that a cloud surrounded them when they ascended to heaven.

as their enemies watched them: This phrase indicates that their enemies watched them ascend. For example:
