When we had been there three days may be rendered “After we had been in Jerusalem for three days” (Contemporary English Version).

The silver and the gold were weighed refers to weighing the treasures given to the priests and Levites in Ezra’s group to carry to the Temple (see verses 55-57). Everything was weighed to ensure that nothing was lost.

And delivered in the house of our Lord to Meremoth the priest, son of Uriah …: They handed over these treasures to two priests and two Levites at the Temple, just as Ezra instructed them to do (see verse 59). In the house of our Lord may be translated “in the Temple of our Lord.” These two priests and two Levites were probably in charge of the Temple treasury. The two priests were Meremoth and Eleazar, and the two Levites were Jozabad and Moeth.

And with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas: The pronoun him refers Meremoth, the fellow priest of Eleazar.

And with them were Jozabad the son of Jeshua and Moeth the son of Binnui, the Levites: The pronoun them refers to Meremoth and Eleazar. Revised Standard Version‘s footnote here calls attention to the fact that it is using the name Binnui from the parallel passage of Ezra 8.33, rather than the name “Sabannus” (Good News Bible) in the Greek text. Translators may use either name here.

Good News Bible may serve as a model for verses 62-63. Contemporary English Version also has the following helpful model:

• 62 After we had been in Jerusalem for three days, we took the silver and gold to the temple, where it was weighed and turned over to the priest Meremoth son of Uriah. 63 With him were Eleazar son of Phinehas and the Levites Jozabad son of Jeshua and Moeth son of Binnui.
