This verse begins in Hebrew with the common conjunction, often translated “and.” In this context it expresses result and is correctly rendered so that.

The priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: In contemporary idiomatic American English, the words could not stand mean “to hate [to do something].” Revised Standard Version is a literal translation of the Hebrew noun “to stand,” but the sense is that they “were unable to stand [in service] on account of the cloud” (De Vries). Some other ways of translating the meaning here are “the priests were not able to remain and perform the service because of the cloud” (New Jewish Publication Society’s Tanakh) and “The priests could not continue their work” (New Century Version).

To minister is to offer sacrifices and perform the other duties in the Temple.

The glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD: In this context the glory of the LORD refers to the bright light that signified the presence of the LORD. New Living Translation says “the glorious presence of the LORD filled the Temple.” Parola Del Signore: La Bibbia in Lingua Corrente omits any reference to light and says simply “the presence of the Lord filled the temple.”
