11:25a In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying,

Similarly, after supper Jesus took the cup and said,

After they had eaten supper Jesus also picked up the cup. He said,

11:25b “This cup is the new covenant in My blood;

“This cup ⌊of wine⌋ is the new covenant ⌊made⌋ through my blood.

“⌊The wine in⌋ this cup ⌊signifies/represents⌋ the new covenant that ⌊God is making⌋ as a result of my blood.

11:25c do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”

Whenever you (plur.) drink from this communion cup, drink in order to remember me.”
