Say: see 1.2. The structure of these two verses may be simplified according to the model provided by Good News Translation, without losing any of the meaning. Three different levels of quotations may be too complex for many languages.

To Aaron and his sons: this can also be translated “to the priests,” since this is clearly the meaning.
